How Can I Help?
We need new Board Members. Please consider joining us. Let us know your interest through our Facebook page. Thank you!

There are many ways to become involved!

PACT exists because of the time, talents, and dedication of many volunteers throughout Central Wisconsin. We value the contributions of everyone, and feel that there are many opportunities both on and off the stage. The members of PACT understand that we are all volunteers with busy schedules. We encourage you to participate in those areas that your time and interest allow. Members work hard, have fun, and gain the experience and satisfaction of a job well done. Volunteer opportunities are available year-round!

Some ways that YOU can become involved:

Acting
Have you ever sat in an audience and said, "Gee, I could do that!" or "I'd like to try that someday!" Well, here's your chance! PACT is lookiing for people like YOU! All that is necessary is a desire to work hard and have fun! We are a supportive group who help and encourage one another. Different sized roles for both men and women are available! Auditions and rehearsals are held July-August.

Set Construction
Would you like to help transform an ordinary stage into a world all of its own? Set construction may be your thing! PACT needs people to construct, paint, decorate, arrange, sweep the floor, and so on! All levels of experience are welcome! You don't have to be a master carpenter or know how to hold a hammer to enjoy this job!

Hair & Make-up
Would you like to help change an ordinary person into a whole new character? Volunteers are needed to assist our actors backstage with their hair and make-up before each performance.

Costumes
Do you like scrounging up fancy frocks at thrift stores or enjoy searching through dusty closets or attics? Can you sew or make alterations? Volunteers are needed to help outfit our actors!

Props
Do you have a knack for finding knicknacks or like to gather odds and ends? You may have the right "stuff" to help find all the stuff that is needed on stage for our performances!

Stage Manager
Do you have good organizaitonal skills? The stage manager is the right-hand person to the director, assisting in all areas of the performance. He or she works closely with the director to ensure that the play goes off without a hitch!

Technical Work — Sound & Lighting
Volunteers are needed to assist in the technical aspects of producing the play. You will be trained to operate the sound or lighting boards, as well as learn how to program sounds and set lights in the state-of-the-art Pittsville Schools Auditorium. No experience is necessary!

Ticket Sales & Ushering
Ticket sellers and ushers are very important, because they are generally the first people who greet and assist theater-goers. Your friendly smile and a couple of free hours will be a great help to the success of our performances!

Hospitality
Would you like to help us at intermission? PACT needs volunteers to organize refreshments, serve cookies and punch, and assist with clean-up. An easy and fun way to become involved!

Graphic Arts Design Projects
Posters, playbills, and other marketing materials are created to promote every show. If you have a flair for computer design and knowledge of print media, we need you!

Public Relations/Publicity
No matter how much the actors practice, and how fantastic the set looks, the play will not be successful if people aren't informed about the play! Do you have the skills and creativity to help us get the word out and drive ticket sales?

Sponsorship & Program Ad Sales
PACT raises funds through the sale of playbill ads to local businesses and organizations. Do you own a business or belong to an organization? Would you like to sponsor an advertisement in our playbill? Maybe you're the type of person who could sell ice to an Eskimo! PACT could use your talents to aid in our fundraising efforts.

Grant Writing
Maybe you're not comfortable on stage, but have a flair for writing! PACT needs individuals who can assist in grant writing as a way of funding new and innovative projects.

Database Management
PACT needs people to help keep our mailing lists current. The ability to transfer someone's address off of a matchbook cover or napkin and type it into the computer keeps us in touch with theater-goers throughout Central Wisconsin!

Become a Board Member
PACT board members meet monthly to plan performances and manage the business side of the organization. Bring your talents and ideas to the table! We value your expertise and advice.

Become a Committee Member
Maybe your strengths and interests lie in one area. Give your time on one of many committees. Many hands make light work!

Attend a PACT Performance
Sit back and enjoy! Coming to our plays is one of the easiest and most enjoyable ways to support PACT and the arts. Those involved in the play are greatly encouraged and motivated by your attendance!

DONATE
A donation of ANY kind is greatly appreciated.
